Roberto Alban Art Gallery, after thirty years dedicated to the Brazilian Art, innovates and changes its brand and name, becoming Alban. From the partnership between its two associates, Cristina and Roberto Alban, the gallery gains momentum by refreshing its identity, artistic program, work scope and projects.
From an annual exhibition program with around five shows, the Alban promotes and exhibits the artistic production of established and upcoming artists of the national scene, from different generations, practices and regions of Brazil.
The repositioning of the gallery in the current art circuit meets the desire of its managing partners, Cristina and Roberto Alban, to renew the group of artists represented by the gallery, aiming at not only deepening the bonds with the ones it has been working with for decades, but also aiming at welcoming new artists, narratives and different researches from an artistic scene that evolves and transforms itself.
In this new phase, we intend to enhance our mission of fostering the national artistic production and making it international, through an ample, consistent and innovative curatorial approach. New winds, new times.
