2019


SP-Foto 2019, in partnership with Vivo, offered thematic itineraries to the public interested in finding out the stories behind the works and the showcased artists at the Fair. Developed and guided by the specialists Paola Fabres, Isabella Lenzi and Gustavo Colombini, the exclusive circuits run through highlights of modern and contemporary photography, inviting the visitor to an immersion in the world of photography and in the reflections around this language.

The Guided Tours are free of charge and took place every day during the Fair, with registrations open one hour before each visit starts.

BrIEF HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Photography offers and alters ways of seeing the world since the first experimentations in the 19th century. The itinerary traced a panorama on these transformation through established names.

The itinerary focused on the vanguard context of the first decades of the 20th century, pointing at the main characteristics of Brazilian and world photography in the so-called modern period.
