A new section at SP-Arte/2017 presents fundamental names of contemporary art

SP-Arte’s curated sections continue to encourage cutting edge programs and artworks that challenge fairgoers.
In newest sector Repertório (Repertoire), curator Jacopo Crivelli Visconti highlights works created in the 1980s by artists born before the 1950s. The section includes works by artists who have been inspiring other generations, such as Dan Graham, Richard Long, Lothar Baumgarten and Pino Pascali.

About the curator
Jacopo Crivelli Victonti is a curator and writer. He was the responsible for the selection of works at retrospectives of artists such as Héctor Zamora (CCBB-SP, 2016), Sean Scully (Pinacoteca de São Paulo, 2015) and Leda Catunda (MAM-RJ, 2014), and was the curator of the XII Cuenca Biennial (Ecuador, 2014).
