Artworks
“Saboneteiras” [Soapdishes] compiles the eponymous series by visual artist Ana Elisa Egreja. The small-scale paintings subtly condense some of the themes explored throughout her career, such as the meticulous reproduction of materials and textures and the representation of the affective memory impregnated in home interiors. Produced in partnership with Galeria Leme, the book features four different covers, with preface by artist Jac Leirner, a poem by writer Carola Saavedra and a critical text by curator Ann Gallagher.
