Mariannita Luzzati
Brazil, 1963
Mariannita Luzzati was born in São Paulo, in 1963, and lives and works between São Paulo and London. Her paintings and engravings show the effect mankind has on nature. Through pictorial techniques she creates zones of visual ambiguity, in which light is the most important element, managing to transmit the sensation of timelessness.
Among the national and international exhibitions in which she participated are “XV Salão Paulista de Arte Contemporânea” (São Paulo, 1989); "Marinhas", at Galeria Nara Roesler (São Paulo, 1994), "Torre Viscontea", at Museo Comunale (Lecco Itália, 2006); and "Mar", at Galeria Amparo60 (Recife, 2013).
