Ana Prata (Sete Lagoas, MG) has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of São Paulo, and from the beginning of her career has been developing her research in painting. The artist participated in the 33rd Bienal de São Paulo – Affective Affinities, at Bienal Pavilion, São Paulo, Brazil (2018); and held solo exhibitions at Galeria Millan, São Paulo, Brazil (2014 and 2017); Pippy Houldsworth Gallery, London, UK (2016); La Maudite, Paris, France; Kubikgallery, Porto, Portugal (2015); Tomie Ohtake Institute, São Paulo, Brazil (2012); and Centro Cultural São Paulo, Brazil (2009), among others. She was also one of the nominees for the 2017, 2018 and 2019 PIPA Prize. Ana Prata lives and works in São Paulo, SP, Brazil.
